Course

Due to major road construction in Downtown Jackson a new course will be utilized this year. The race will start and finish across from Manpower Park near McDonalds. The course will go east on Carr Street to Veterans Drive and General Paul Tibis Drive and return. This out and back course was used for the 2025 Thanksgiving Day Run. Manpower Park is located across the street from the Jackson Square Shopping Center and Appalachia Realty at 580 E. Main Street in Jackson. 

Entry Fees

Online and mail in registration before July 4th at $25.00 and race day in person registration will be $30.00.

Age Groups

Male and female; 12 and under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over.                                                                 .

Awards

Medallions for male and female runners; 12 and under, 13-16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over

Plaques for the top three men and women.

WALKERS CLASS FOUR AWARDS: 1st Male, 1st Female, 1st Girl 12 or Younger and 1st Boy 12 or Younger. Walker must walk the entire distance, no running.

Charity Information

Any donations will be used to promote the goals for the Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce.
